Your app: from idea to publication

A mobile app for businesses in Amiens, the Somme and the Hauts-de-France, or remotely. We start with a scoping phase, deducted from the price if you go ahead: it sets the screens and a fixed quote. Then I build the app, for iPhone and Android, and publish it on the App Store and Google Play.

Mobile app

How much does a mobile app cost? The scoping, then the development

Net prices: what you pay, with no VAT to add.

Mobile app

scoping €890, then from €9,990

  • The scoping sets the scope, the screens and a fixed quote; if the project goes ahead, I deduct the €890 of the scoping from the price
  • You also leave with the technical choices explained without jargon, and my frank opinion on what is worth building
  • From €9,990: an app for iPhone and Android, built from a single codebase, of about ten screens (the scoping fixes the exact number), with its content built in and able to work offline
  • The price includes publication on the App Store and Google Play, store listings included
  • If your customers pay inside the app (a subscription, content to unlock), I plan that payment from the scoping. Added afterwards: €2,900.

Not included, priced at the scoping: user accounts, a server, an admin area, a connection to other software.

Apple and Google

The publishing accounts are in your name

$99 a year with Apple, $25 once with Google. I handle the paperwork, in your name.

On a recent personal Google account, Google first requires fourteen days of testing by at least twelve people: the schedule in the quote allows for that delay.

After publication

Mobile app maintenance: 18% a year

18% a year of the development price (scoping excluded), about €1,800 a year for an app at €9,990. Apple and Google change their rules every year, and the stores can remove an app that nobody updates any more.

Maintenance covers adapting to new versions of iOS and Android, fixing bugs and publishing updates; new features go through a quote. It is compulsory in the first year after publication, then optional, renewed year by year.

If you stop it, I hand over the code, its documentation and the logins: another developer can take the app over.

An example

A published mobile app: an example

Slice of Napoli is an app I designed, developed and published on the App Store and on Google Play. Its guide is built in and stays readable without a connection — only the map needs one. Free to install, with a single purchase to unlock everything.

An idea for an app?

Two lines are enough, even if it is still vague. The first conversation lasts 30 minutes, with no commitment.
